Biggest Loser update, and time for some new goals

Today I weighed in for the Biggest Loser contest in Worcester. I was down 5 lbs in 2 weeks, for a total of 31.2 lbs in 10 weeks, or 13.32% of my body weight lost.  The people in the lead have lost over 15% – so I am in the top five, possibly even the leading woman, but unlikely to win the whole thing.  I was 203 on their scale – it always weighs lighter than either home or the WW scale.  The final weigh-in is in 2 more weeks – guess I’ll be sporting a tank top and shorts for that one! The organizers said you can wear anything as long as it’s not underwear/lingerie!  LOL

My original goal was 210lbs by our trip to San Antonio on April 15th.  Since I’ve already surpassed that with more than a month to go, I think it’s time for some new goals.

  • 2 week goal (3/27/11): 200 or less at the final Biggest Loser weigh-in, for a total of 35 lbs gone in 12 weeks.
  • New San Antonio trip goal: One-derland (i.e. 199.8lbs  or less) at my last Weight Watchers weigh-in before the Texas trip (4/11/11)
  • New UK trip goal: 185lbs by July 4th.  This moves my BMI from the obese range of 30.0+ to the overweight range of 25-29.9.  My starting BMI for Biggest Loser at 234.2 lbs was 37.8.  My current BMI at 203 lbs for Biggest Loser today is 32.8.

  1. Wow, you’re doing such an amazing job, Rebecca! It definitely makes me realize I need to stop dragging my feet so much and get 100% committed again. I’ve been slacking off a LOT for the past 3-4 weeks mostly due to work stress first and then being so sick.
